The Henderson County Community Outreach partners Child Protective Services, the District Attorney's office, CASA of Trinity Valley, Faith-Based Services, Rainbow Room, and our local Parent Collaboration Group to hold an informational meeting on statistics pertaining to CPS cases in Henderson County, and to inform the community of the multiple ways in which they can help/serve the families in our county.
CPS-FAD: Jerry Johnson will provide information on how to become licensed for foster care.
CASA of Trinity Valley: Emily Heglund will provide information on how to become a volunteer.
Rainbow Room: Rosemary Torres will explain the Rainbow Room's purpose and present information on the ways to give.
Faith Based Services: Tonya Fuller will educate the community about the local ministries and partnerships with our churches.
The District Attorney's office will provide local statistics.
PCG: Jodie Calcote and Karla Baker will educate the community on the support group and how to mentor current and previous clients.
This event will be held at the First Presbyterian Church in Athens on January 10, 2018 from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m.
